Bauchi State Governor Receives $1.5M Bank Loan To Implement Health Program .

Governor M. A. Abubakar of Bauchi state was in Abuja Thursday to attend the ceremonial launch event for the first disbursement of funds to states and the FCT. The event organised by the Federal Ministry of Health, under the Saving One Million Lives Program for Result (SOML PforR) saw each state and the FCT receive a 1.5 million dollars World Bank loan to implement the program. The event which was organised under the auspices of Prof. Isaac Adewole, Honourable Minister for Health, had several state governors and commissioners for health in attendance.
