Three-time African champions, the Super Eagles, dropped nine places to 70th spot in the latest FIFA ranking on Thursday.
The Nigerian team were 61st in the world in June with 559 points.
They are now 70th with 514 points.
The Eagles also dropped to 17th in Africa, behind the likes of Cape Verde (62nd in the world, 11th in Africa), Uganda (69th in the world, 15th in Africa) and Benin Republic (68th in the world, 14th in Africa). #GoldMyneTv
