Nigeria’s Flamingos has been drawn to battle world football giants, Brazil, England and Democratic Republic of Korea in Group C of the FIFA Under 17 World Cup, Jordan 2016.
In the draw event, which took place at the Al-Hussein Cultural Centre in downtown Amman, the Bala Nikyu girls would face the Brazilian test in the opening group game at the 12,000 capacity King Abdullah II International Stadium.
The Nigerian girls will also travel to Prince Mohammed International Stadium for their second game against England, while they would tackle Korea DPR in the final group tie.
Nigeria has reached the quarter –finals in the last three editions of the competition (Trinidad and Tobago 2010, Azerbaijan 2012 and Costa Rica 2014), and qualified for this year’s finals after hammering Namibia and South Africa home and away.
